Best game of 2012? Far Cry 3, for sure. The multiplayer and the co-op may not stand out among other games, but the stellar single-player more than makes up for this. It is a huge, beautiful open world with plenty to do, and the acting and performance capture (especially from Michael Mando's Vaas) is absolutely fantastic. I would probably go on to write a full review as to why its so good, but I doubt anyone would read it. But GOTY should definitely be Far Cry 3.

Dishonored comes second. Assassin's Creed III comes third. Halo 4 comes fourth. FIFA 13 comes fith.
