This game began its impression on me (and I imagine others as well) with it being accused of stealing the codes of Assassin's Creed II. Before that, I've never heard of this game, and after seeing the gameplay video itself, you'll forgive me for thinking the same thing as well. The gameplay looked like textbook Assassin's Creed, mixed in with The Witcher, Batman Arkham, and Dishonored. It's like one giant amalgamation, having its Lord of the Rings birthday party with The Force Unleashed handling the catering.

That's not to say it's a completely bad thing. It is on its early phase after all, so maybe it can improve itself better and get some sea legs, because what I've seen hasn't really impressed me that much. I am a Lord of the Rings fan (though not as heavily devout as some of you chaps might be) and it's nice to see a Lord of the Rings game that isn't real-time strategy. I'll be waiting for it to get some good reviews before purchase and final judgement at the gallows.
