I just bought the DLC this morning, the Stowaway is very similar to the Robber, I have to agree with the others. The Stowaway is more of a reboot of the Robber, personally I have no interest in this character. The Shaman is another character I don't have an intention of playing. I like his signature weapon and his kill animations but there is something about him I don't like. And I can't quite put my finger on it. It does say he's related to Haitian Voodoo so I'm hoping there's a connection between him and the Firebrand somehow. Maybe it's her uncle that is mentioned in her bio. Finally the Siren. I only bought the DLC for this character, as I did with the last DLC to get The Orchid. Now I like the character, but I do think the sabre is the wrong choice of weapon for her. I would have preferred to see some stylised pistols or a nice dagger. Even a spear or harpoon, I've noticed this game has no spears. Her customisation is OK. I think she has too much jewellery, her entire forearms are basically covered with bangles and charms. Her costumes are a bit boring, I'm hoping her Champion pack is intriguing. Her hairs are disappointing, all styles have the positives and their negatives. She shares the same face paint and tattoos as the Orchid which is just a bore (in my opinion). Her taunts are nice, I like all the animations and her voice is really beautiful. But it's not as angry as I thought it would be? We don't really have any female taunts that are angry or mean sounding. Her kill animations are horrible. I'm sorry but she stabs them in their back and rips her sword out to hold it above her head in some cheesy pose. I really don't like it. Her front personal animation is a little better, it isn't as stupid as the other one. They could have done a lot better. And I agree with Crookandcharlatan, she's pretty ugly. I'll continue playing as her, but she's not my favourite. I hope the upcoming maps are interesting. I've played on Charlestown, in AC3 it was OK. But I'm annoyed I had to pay to get the three maps that are free in this game in AC3. Kingston looks OK. But I think the ACR maps were the best. If the Ubisoft are making a AC game in Egypt I hope to see maps and architecture like the ones in ACR return (Even the characters, I really miss The Brigand and The Thespian) Anyway. That's my view in the DLC. If you really want these characters just to brag or to say you've got them get them. But other than that, unless you really like the way they look in the promotional photos I wouldn't bother.
