Ok seriously folks, are we forgetting the fact that he was having problems breathing before he went to Florence with Sofia and Flavia? The fact that he was coughing up a lung every five minutes throughout the movie. And also, if people think he got poisoned, then wouldn't he have noticed the blade? He's old, not blind, he could more then likely see it if it was there and moved closer to his family or try to call for help, not just let the man poison him. He's not defenseless, he was a head assassin for awhile and was trained by the best.

And now we go to the Borgia? Really? Not every Boriga was a Templar, what is this, "oh well he's a Borgia so he's suddenly a Templar?" Lucrezia was a greedy woman and Giovanni was an assassin, let alone this whole Cesare supposidly had 11 kids, we never saw anything about Cesare and his relationships unless it was with his sister.
