It was already stated that viewpoints will be on tall trees.

He has to be able to swim but maybe he can't swim forever like Ezio can. I mean, a regular person can't swim for too long before getting fatigued.

Since this will conclude Desmond's story then we can be certain that this story will revolve more around him since we will only view a few years of Connor's life.
