What about a game centered around the Norse colonization of Iceland, or the journeys of Erik the Red or Leif Erikson? It has vikings, sailing, and war. And according to Altair's codex, there's a piece of eden pretty close to where vikings settled in iceland, so there could be a race between assassins and templars to the "Center of the Earth" or First Civ temple/observatory type place. I mean its just my opinon, but anything involving vikings is pure awesomeness.
