Suggestion for the Civil War game: instead of going all the way to 1880, ending the game in 1876 makes more sense. That was the year Reconstruction completely ended, as a byproduct of the compromise that solved the controversial presidential election of 1876.

Further, I'd start the game with Bleeding Kansas, and include John Brown's raid. These two events were the preludes to the Civil War.
