What if the "rays" on the Philippine flag's sun were actually simplified drawings of the assassin's hidden blade (meaning there were 8 assassins that contributed to the Spanish revolution)?

Taking away the "rays" leaves us with a circle, which could symbolize an Apple of Eden that the assassins were trying to protect against the templars.

Also, how about if the Apple of Eden was incorporated into a religious item (or imahen), and this was the main reason why the imahen displayed miraculous powers? Maybe it could've been hidden in the first Santo Niño (it was holding a ball thingy), the Black Nazarene (it might have been not black before, but somehow it caught fire and the Piece of Eden inside prevented it from completely burning to ash), etc.?

These are just some ideas, the Spanish revolution holds so much potential for an Assassin's Creed story. :)
