While it's sad to see an editor stepping down like this, I have to admit that I have never been fond of Cello. While I am not a contributor myself, I used this wikia to keep up with news pertaining to the series, and to educate myself when I have questions. From his news posts Cello struck me as incredibly obtuse, and the hatred he has for Revelations, to me, is incredibly unfounded in a variety of areas, going further than a difference of opinion (as I can assure that if we merely disgreed there I would not have made such a fuss about it). As someone outside the community this painted a grim picture of the community as a whole, so much so that I stopped visiting for a while. Of course though there is no other wikia like this one so full of knowledge, so I returned after a while, but Cello's news posts always left a sour taste in my mouth, and I decidedly found other sources for my Assassin's Creed news.

People with an open mind should be the ones "leading", and Cello proved, to me personally, that he was not one such person, and for my own sake perhaps I'm somewhat relieved to read from the comments that my impressions were not unfounded. I don't mean to disregard his contributions, disrespect him as a person, or demean his personal opinion, but from an "outside looking in" perspective, I'm not disheartened that he's leaving. Hopefully contributors and those that take the reigns now will be able to more properly lead this wikia.
