Other sites are wrong, Ubisoft confirmed that Aquilus is a canon character. And there is nothing to contradict the existence of Aquilus in AC canon. The Desmond storyline in the French comic is non-canon, yes, but the Aquilus storyline is canon. We know what we're doing man, don't think other random sites know better than us.
