Saer was a 9th century Anglo-Saxon archer from Lunden, Mercia.
In 873, Saer competed for the title of being the best archer and a chance to stand as part of "The Arrow's" army. However, the opportunity was destroyed after the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir assassinated The Arrow at his rally.[1] After the rally, he found work under the Reeves Erke Bodilsson and Stowe after the Order of the Ancients' presence was dismantled in Lunden.[2]
