Pitcairn Islands

The Pitcairn Islands are a group of four volcanic islands that form the only British Overseas Territory in the southern Pacific Ocean. During the 19th century, the territory was advertised as holiday destination for people from the United Kingdom wishing to visit the colonies of the British Empire. The Pitcairn Islands were advertised as being "peopled by the mutineers of the Bounty".
