Pescara is the capital city of the Province of Pescara, Italy.[1]
In the early 1500s, Lord Captain and his companions were intercepted by Cesare Borgia's troops in Pescara while on their way to Rome. They had to prove they were worthy of an appointment with Rodrigo Borgia to be allowed through and continued on to L'Aquila.[2]
