During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this piece in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The Mercenary Breastplate, a piece of armor in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, is part of the iconic outfit worn by the Eagle Bearer in the promotional material. The model of the Mercenary Breastplate is also used for the Pirate Set and Armor of the Dikastes, although in the latter case, the cloak is omitted.
