The Heraion of Samos was one of the largest sanctuaries dedicated to the goddess Hera, located on the southern coast of Samos, Greece. The sanctuary also housed one of the first temples made of stone.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the sanctuary was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[2]
