Evesham Abbey

Evesham Abbey was an abbey in Oxenefordscire, England, located by the river south of the Arwy, near the border of Glowecestrescire.
In the 870s, the abbey was raided by the Viking Raven Clan led by Eivor Varinsdottir, who pillaged its buildings of raw materials and cargo for their settlement of Ravensthorpe.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The ruins of Evesham Abbey lie in the modern county of Worcestershire, within a meander of the Warwickshire Avon.[2] As this river is not featured in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, its tributary, the Arwy River, instead flows southward into the Cearrwell River, whose east bank's upper section is used for the abbey's location. Its riverside position allows the player to raid the settlement for resources.[1]
