The Dismal Tree was a sacrifical site surrounded by a bunch of trees located south of Yw Huts in Herakleion Nome, Egypt

In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa visited the area during his time in the nome, where he came across the corpses of various villagers who had sacrificed themselves to the god Sobek.
