Database: Manta Ray (Resynced)

Although related to sharks, manta rays are harmless. They can be quite large—up to 30 ft (9m) wide) [sic]—and feed on small fish and plankton, funneling food into their mouth using cephalic flaps extending from the eyes. Manta rays, which are found all over the world, have the unique ability to leap from the water into the air to escape attackers.
