Bastien Jez
Bastien Jez is a French freelance illustrator and painter. He was responsible for the cover of Kate Heartfield's novels The Magus Conspiracy and The Resurrection Plot.

Assassin's Creed[edit | edit source]
Bastien Jez illustrated the main cover art for the Aconyte Books-published Assassin's Creed novel The Magus Conspiracy by Canadian author Kate Heartfield. It was officially released on 2 August 2022 in the United States and 8 September for the United Kingdom.[1] Jez was personally thanked by Heartfield in the acknowledgements section of the novel.[2] Again, on 29 August, on the video game podcast, the ECHO Cast, their cover art was praised by Heartfield.[3] He was again thanked by Heartfield in the acknowledgments of her second novel, The Resurrection Plot released in July 2023.[4]
Controversy[edit | edit source]
On 16 August 2022, Jez discovered the unfair use of some of their art by a pseudo-company to market a scam cryptocurrency known as $SERAPH. Jez intends to take legal action and advised followers not to invest in it.[5]
