Bait

Bait was a small collection of food, primarily used for hunting small animals, by enticing them towards a specific location or a trap. During the 18th century, Ratonhnhaké:ton used bait in combination with snares to hunt various predator and prey species in the Frontier.

In an alternate timeline where George Washington crowned himself king of the United States with an Apple of Eden, Ratonhnhaké:ton used raw meat as bait to lure away guard dogs.
