Arctic fox

The arctic fox is a small fox mainly found in the Northern Hemisphere and in the arctic tundras. Known for its thick, warm fur, the arctic fox also uses its fur as a mode of camouflage.
During the Viking Age in Norway, the arctic fox was mainly found in Rygjafylke, Norway, near Fannaraki Summit. Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan hunted the little animals for their fur and fangs as a means to trade with Ravensthorpe's tanner, Wallace, and to complete special orders made through him from Gunnar and Winfrith.[1]
Arctic foxes could also be found in the areas of Havre-Saint-Pierre, Burgeo, Harbour Deep, and Miramichi in North America. During the Seven Years' War, Shay Cormac hunted these creatures for resources to create pouches for his smoke bombs and pistol ammunition.[2]
