Altea
Altea is a city and municipality in Spain, located on a section of the Mediterranean coast called the Costa Blanca.

In June 1747, the British Templar Haytham Kenway travelled to Altea on an assignment to find and eliminate Juan Vedomir, a local merchant and Templar who had betrayed the Order[1] by collaborating with the Assassins.[2] Posing as a Genoese cheesemaker, Haytham was granted entry to Vedomir's villa and met with the turncoat in his private chambers.[3]
Vedomir took notice of Haytham's English accent and became suspicious once he tasted the cheese he had brought, which he recognized as originating from a local cheesemaker. Before he could call the guards, however, Haytham killed Vedomir with an improvised garrote. He then retrieved a journal in his possession for Reginald Birch, which was largely encrypted.[3]
