The Alkidas Fort was a fort located on the western side of the Petrified Valley on the island of Lesbos, Greece.
During the Peloponnesian War, bandits took over the ruined fort, and soon after the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place. She commenced to kill the bandits' leader, free their captives, and claim their valuables. She also discovered one of the Ainigmata Ostraka within the fort.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The name of the fort in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is a reference to the Spartan general Alkidas, who came to Mytilene in around 427 BCE.
