The Athena Promachos Belt was a belt that was part of a set of armor inspired by and dedicated to the Greek goddess of wisdom and warfare Athena

The belt was made available to the misthios Kassandra through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]

Πρόμαχος (promachos) is Greek for 'who fights in front', and one of the epithets of Athena as the one who leads soldiers into battle.
