The Toxarchos Reflex Bow was a bow commonly used throughout classical Greece during the 5th century BCE. The bows were mainly reserved for the toxarchos, Greek soldiers who served as the commander or officer in charge of a group of archers.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the bow was especially favored by Athenianmarksmen.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Toxarchos Reflex Bow, a bow in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, including The Skyripper in the DLC Legacy of the First Blade: Shadow Heritage. These are all the recycled model of Priest of Ma'at, a bow in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
