The Pride of the Lion was an old sword that was once carried by a highly-decorated soldier of the Achaemenid Empire.
Its crossguard and pommel decorated with the stylized heads of wild boars, this blade was obtained by the Spartan misthios Kassandra after her introductory fight with Darius around 429 BCE.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The Pride of Lion is a reward for completing the story mission "Shadow of a Legend" in Legacy of the First Blade, an expansion to Assassin's Creed: Odyssey . It is given to the player character, the Eagle Bearer, by Darius. As is often the case in Odyssey, Darius still retains the sword after it is given to the player due to the game generating a new copy for the player rather than transferring the item from Darius.
