The Dedication of the Knidians was a monument located within the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, Greece.
History[edit | edit source]
The dedication consisted of a group of twenty bronze Apollo statues, commissioned by the Liparians to commemorate a naval victory over the Etruscans. Each statue stood for a ship seized by the enemy.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the monument was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[2]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
In Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, the "Historical Location" description for this landmark is misidentified and is meant for the Lesche of the Knidians.
