The Dawnblade Sword was a short sword inspired by the 2017 game Destiny 2.
Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus to include this sword as part of the shieldmaiden's arsenal.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The weapon shares its look with the Super Ability skill "Daybreak" for a Warlock's sub-class of Dawnblade in Destiny 2. Its description reflects its function in Destiny 2, as the summoned sword can be used to great effect by smiting enemies with fire from the sky.
