The Celestial Blade was a naginata that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke met with onna-musha Yuki no Kata, and they agreed to duel each other. Yasuke managed to best her, whereupon the two warriors thanked each other for the experience and Yuki no Kata gifted her opponent with the weapon.[1]
