The Bark of Ra was a legendary spear inspired by the Egyptian god Ra, the personification of the sun in Egyptian mythology.

Through an Animus modification made by Layla Hassan, the spear was made available to the Medjay Bayek of Siwa during the mid-1st century BCE.

Behind the scenes

A bark, or barque, is a type of ship. In the Egyptology sense, barques were the funerary barges, built to transport the souls into the afterlife and were also believed to be how the gods, such as Ra, traveled the heavens.
