The Best Offense was a naginata that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke met with an old ashigaru at the atakebune under construction at the Yura Shipyard and was asked for a sparring match. After a long fight, the old warrior was satisfied and gifted Yasuke his prized naginata.
