The Holborn Viaduct is a bridge across the Fleet River in London, England.
Originally built in 1869 to span the length of the Fleet River, the viaduct was meant to be not only infrastructure but also a piece of art, being painted in red and gold and adorned with four statues which represented Agriculture, Commerce, Science, and Fine Art. In November 1869, Queen Victoria led the ceremony to officially unveil it.[2]
