Goliath (died 10th century BCE) was a giant Philistine warrior.[1]

Biography[edit | edit source]

During the 10th century BCE, Goliath fought King Saul's army in an attempt to invade the Kingdom of Israel, challenging their best fighter to duel him in single combat. When the Israelites made camp in the Valley of Elah, the young shepherd David stepped forward to face him. Armed with only a sling[1] and secretly wielding a healing Shroud of Eden, David killed Goliath and decapitated him.[2]

Legacy[edit | edit source]

In 2012, the Assassin Clay Kaczmarek collected details on Goliath's death while Abstergo Industries held him captive at their Animus Project laboratory in Rome. He then hid the information within the Animus 1.28 in Glyph puzzles for his successor, Desmond Miles, to find.[2] Sometime in early September,[3] Desmond solved the puzzle set titled "Keep On Seeking, And You Will Find", in which Goliath's defeat was revealed to have been influenced by a Piece of Eden.[2]
