Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The model of the Freeman Sword, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins, was recycled as the model of the Wooden Sword, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and its kind. The model of the Freeman Sword itself is based on the Xiphos type of sword.
The name of the blade suggests that it belonged to a Freedman, a former slave who was granted freedom.[2]
