Fort Washington

Fort Washington was a fort built in New York City during the American Revolutionary War. Originally constructed by the Continental Army on the site of the previous Fort Arsenal, it was later captured by the British Army during the Battle of Fort Washington in 1776, and remained a British stronghold until its re-capture by the Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton.

Historically, once captured, this fort remained in British hands until Evacuation Day.
