Camp Shemu

Camp Shemu was a military camp located at the western corner of Sapi-Res Nome, next to Lake Mareotis.

In 48 BCE, the Medjay, Bayek, travelled to the camp, where he assassinated the tax collector that has been terrorizing the villagers in the region.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The name Shemu is variously transliterated from the Egyptian word "Low Water" (Šmw), which refers to the state of the Nile before the beginning of its annual flood.
