Kitano Village

Kitano Village was a village situated in Mount Kasagata in Harima, Japan.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe arrived to check in on Koshiro,[1] after his injuries sustained by Genzaburo and his former unit.[2] While there, Naoe helped Koshiro tend to his residence while he trained youths in self-defense since he can no longer fight.[1]

While cleaning, Naoe found a letter unsent and just as Koshiro entered, she read that he intended to leave. He explained that he can no longer fight and had no purpose. Naoe reminded him of his woodworking but he stated that he buried his box at Inariyama Garrison due to Genzaburo's disdain for his hobby. Naoe promised to find it and instantly left to bring it back to him.[1] At some point, Naoe and fellow Kakushiba ikki member also established a kakurega in the southern part of the village.[3]
