Jean Marchand (1780 – 1856) was the son of Assassin Hubert Marchand and Colette Lapointe. He is also an ancestor of Mary Lynch and her son, Callum Lynch.
Jean was married to Laura Clemens, with whom he had two sons, Thomas and Frank Mckye.
In 2016, Jean's name could be seen on a notice board set up at the Abstergo Foundation Rehabilitation Center in Madrid, which detailed the family tree of Callum Lynch.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- It is unknown why Jean and Laura's sons had a different surname from their parents.
- Jean, his father Hubert and grandfather Franc share their surname with a French slave called Henri Marchand who was sent to participate in the French Geodesic Mission by the Assassin Adéwalé in 1735. It is unknown if they are actually related to him, however.
