George Dorrance

George Dorrance (7 March 1737 – 3 July 1778) was an officer of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. A member of the Templar Order, he was responsible for the displacement of several Iroquois villages.[1]
Dorrance participated in the Battle of Wyoming in 1778, fighting against the joint forces of the British Army and the Iroquois, and was killed by Assassins sent by Ratonhnhaké:ton.[1]
