The Mura Aureliane (English: Aurelian Walls) were the city walls of Rome. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, they serve as the in-game boundaries. The walls were built between 271 and 275 A.D. on the orders of Emperor Aurelian and were constructed to protect Rome from barbarian attacks.
