Joseph SMITH Jr. is the founder of the Church of Latter Day Saints, and the author of the Book of Mormon. This passage discussing Cain, specifically the parts about Satan, Master Mahan, and "the Great Secret" are taken directly from the Book of Mormon.

This could mean that Joseph Smith Jr, and possibly the entire Church of Latter Day Saints, are Templars.
