@anon Hey, I know you probably have never seen my comments around here but I own every single AC game(for PC) and original copies to boot unlike some people in my country(almost everyone) that just get/download the pirated copy and broadcast that they are AC fans. Also bear in mind that AC is the ONLY ongoing game series that gets that treatment from me. I am a die-hard fan. But even I have a life and it's a treat for me to play the game in my own time. I played both Black Flag and Revelations again just a few days ago cause I missed the gameplay. So please don't make such comments. The reasons why I am against a game this year is

1. Yearly main game. <--- This is a primary topic in gaming debates. And almost all use CoD as an example and people put AC in the same category. Do you know how angry this makes me feel as a die-hard fan? I mean, c'mon, does a Halo fan like having Halo compared to CoD? No.

2. Possible downgrade - Yes, it is not a guarantee that the game will fail or succeed but we have gotten proof from Revelations and AC3 that they can indeed fail regardless of the amount of years put into the development. Now here's the problem, once it becomes normal for them to release a main numbered game every year, do you honestly think they can keep giving us games that keep vastly improving on Black Flag so quickly after another? As it was pointed out, they need to have time and having main games yearly all the time, just creates more projects. Black Flag succeeded cause it had a diversity of staff from AC and Far Cry 3 and why is this? Cause there was no real need for the staff of Far Cry section of Ubi at that moment and could be spared.
