And Crook, Ezio has went through too much. He lost his father in the execution, he's been pass so many traitors such as Uberto and Ahmet. He also lost his loved ones. Due to this, Ezio has been more brutal in his actions, (I don't dislike him) and no matter who they were, Ezio always kept an eye on him/her. For example, in the end of the final battle in Revelations, Ezio drawn his sword against Selim I because of what Selim said.
