When he said 30 hours of gameplay (which effectively are alot), he meant if you just rush through the main storyline missions without doing any side missions or exploration, which i personally think im going to enjoy as much as the game itself.

The war did end in 1783, but who knows exactly how much Connor was involved in it. Maybe Connor had nothing to do with the southern theatre or the British Move South in 1778, and even if he did, them showing only a couple months after the war is fine with me.

Rome was a huge map to explore. The Frontier will be even bigger, and since we will have season changes, tall mountains and trees, plus different landscapes to explore, it will seem even larger. Also, in Brotherhood we just had Rome as a map, in AC3 were going to have three maps, each one 1,5x Rome, so dont complain about AC3 having small maps.
