Rome would've been too big to put in ACII, so they had to make Brotherhood. (Yet for some reason there is enough room in Brotherhood to have a multiplayer, an assassin guild, leonardo's missions, better graphics, horses in the city, the new weapons and gadgets, the virtual training, Desmond's storyline, and the side missions and borgia towers.
