Sima Yi is a little... annoyed. What most people don't seem to understand and/or remember is that Desmond can only access the memories of his ancestors before the birth of one of their children, since the animus can only relive memories and at the point of conception, no more new memories can be made from that ancestor, only the foetus. E.g. in AC2, Desmond had a flashback of Altair and Maria conceiving their child. As the camera pans away and Altair leaves, Desmond now moves on to the recently conceived child within Maria. It's a commonly overlooked concept in the AC universe, im sure that's what gets people fumming.
