Given the choice, I think I'd go with one of the two Chinese settings. Why? Because I don't know that much about them.

Everyone knows what happened in the push towards WWII, but I don't know squat about what happened on the other side of the world. That way, any historical events will come as a surprise for me. Plus I want to see what happens to Shao Jun.
