@Ghost What you said isn't exactly accurate because the Templars weren't defeated, only their plans were delayed. Actually ever since the American Revolution the Templars dominated the assassins and Abstergo became so powerful that the assassins had to go ito hiding. The Templars haven't been defeated yet. They will probably be defeated for good in AC III by Desmond but you never know it is up to the developers
