I agree with Lucan07
If you are an AC veteran, having finished AC, AC2 and ACB, then when you play ACR it's a bit repetitive. Yes, they have new mechanics: the apprentices, new weapons, hookblades, et cetera, but honestly - if there's no 100% sych requirements to use the new features - I can finish the game with just hidden blade, sword & throwing knives, the things that's already there since Altair, and if you're adept at counters, it becomes just like Lucan07 said, finishing at least 5 enemies in 20 seconds or so (although I admit the streak feature is AWESOME).
It's the same engine so I can't blame Ubisoft for it - ACB and ACR are spin-offs after all - but it will be nice to have something real new - not just the mechanics, but the "soul" as well.
It's just my opinion though, so I'm not entirely true.
Nothing is true.
