i thought that france during the time of the french revolution would be good.i see some great potential there with the compact building designs, great for free-running.the revolution would provide a good reason for a templar controlled monarchy.if you remember in brotherhood the french did help cesare in his templar campaign.maybe the assassins could be helping the revolutionairies.post what you think
